Alfernie Fabricante

Alfernie Fabricante received his Associates in Computer Science in community college before transferring to UCSD to complete his Bachelors in Cognitive Science in 2024 and plans to further his education by pursuing his Masters.

Alfernie was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at a young age. His passion for technology and community has shaped his educational journey and were the inspiration behind his choice in majors and joining a National Community Service Fraternity. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, video games, playing the guitar, and 3D printing.

Alfernie began his journey with NASA with the NCAS program in 2020, which culminated in a virtual onsite experience. He later went on to take part in NASA’s L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy. These programs helped to establish his excitement for space, and he is thrilled to now continue this journey as a Lucy Mission Ambassador.
