As a motivated woman in the professional world of aerospace, with a concentration in space studies and was an analog astronaut with A.A.R.G (APUS) at ILMAH at the University of North Dakota for the 8i mission in May of 2025, I am dedicated to advancing space exploration and education. Currently, I am a graduate student at American Public University System, pursuing a master's degree in Earth and Planetary Science with a concentration in Space Studies. My academic journey is complemented by my active involvement in various NASA programs, including the L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy and the NPWEE program, where I have gained valuable experience in project management, resource development, and proposal evaluation. My role as a NASA Eclipse Pathway Ambassador, NASA Solar System Ambassador, NASA Climate Change Research Initiative Ambassador has been instrumental in fostering public engagement and facilitating science communication, allowing me to effectively demystify complex astronomical phenomena for diverse audiences.
My professional experience includes an internship with the Virginia Spaceport Authority, where I worked in safety launchpad operations. Additionally, I was selected for field training in Fairbanks, Alaska, with the Astronomical Society of the Pacific on heliophysics, and I have finished with a SAM mission at the Biosphere 2 in Arizona as their analog Flight Director. My commitment to continuous learning is evident in my pursuit of a third degree in space studies. Through social media and public outreach, I am dedicated to educating the public about space science and the Lucy Mission by inspiring the next generation of explorers. As a non-traditional student and the first in my family to pursue a career in the space industry, I am passionate about changing the world and excited to bring this passion to my future endeavors.
