
Olivia Bogna
Olivia Bogna is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Cleveland State University, having earned her Associate degree from Lorain County Community College in Spring 2025.
With a strong interest in astrophysics and space exploration, Olivia has participated in various STEM and space science opportunities, including NASA’s Here to Observe program with the Europa Clipper mission, the L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy, and research using astronomical spectroscopy to detect pulsars.
Her internship at NASA’s Glenn Research Center and current position with the Ohio Space Grant Consortium inspired her to focus on materials science and STEM engagement/workforce development.
She aims to specialize in materials R&D with aerospace applications, while leading initiatives to educate the public about space science and inspire them to pursue STEM.
