Victoria "Vicky" Montalvo

Vicky is a 3rd-year undergraduate student at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, studying Neuroscience on the pre-medical track. She is a Lifeguard and a Study Skill Tutor at FSU's tutoring hub, the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). She is also the Associate Team Lead for this year's FSU iGEM Team (International Genetic Engineering Machine), and sits on the board for Page Turners, an FSU book club. In addition, she has begun a new FSU student organization for neurodegenerative diseases.

Vicky is very passionate about neurodegenerative diseases and healthcare, as well as exercise and nature! She loves multimedia art work and learning more about space, biology, and the brain.
