The NASA Lucy Mission Internship is a 10-week opportunity that offers students the hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. Sponsored by the Lucy Mission, this internship provides a platform for interns to work on a variety of space science and engineering projects while contributing to NASA's goals. Interns are paired with mentors at one of the collaborative sites, including NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), Lockheed Martin, and KinetX. While the internship is sponsored by the Lucy Mission, participants engage in a range of projects beyond the mission itself, allowing them to develop versatile skills and knowledge.
