NASA Proposal Writing
and
Evaluation Experience (NPWEE)

About NPWEE

The NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience (NPWEE) Academy is focused on innovation and creativity.  Throughout this experience, participants team up as they learn how to identify NASA needs and develop innovative solutions to NASA's pain points. Sponsored by the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, participants gain hands-on experience in learning how to formulate a proposal to a specific solicitation and complete for a $10,000.00 team prize to help fund their team's project.  Upon completion of the proposal writing process, participants are then trained to become proposal reviewers and have an opportunity to provide relevant feedback to their peers as they score other proposals that have been submitted.  The winning team is announced during the final live session.  No matter the outcome of the selection process, participants walk away with the valuable skill of writing and scoring proposals.

"Through NPWEE, I was able to work with a team of students from different STEM fields as well, in order to write and submit a proposal and a New Technology Report based on current NASA Technology needs. I feel like what makes L’SPACE different from many other programs is that it allows you to earn as much knowledge and skills as you want to as it gives you the platform and resources to learn and ask as many questions as you would like to. Joining L’SPACE was definitely one of the best decisions I have made for my career.
