Mission Concept Review

The objective of the MCR Life Cycle Review (LCR), as defined in NASA Procedure Requirement (NPR) 7120.5, is to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed mission concept(s) as well as its ability to fulfill the needs and objectives of the program. It is intended to determine whether the maturity of the concept and the associated planning are sufficient for Phase A to begin. The overall maturity state at Key Decision Point (KDP) A is that the project addresses critical NASA needs, and the proposed mission concept(s) is feasible.
