Ava is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she recently transferred after attending Cuesta College. At Cuesta she graduated with an AS in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics, was the president of the STEM Club, and contributed to astronomy research studying binary star systems. Ava has participated in NCAS missions 1 through 3, as well as the L'SPACE MCA in Summer 2025 serving as the Lead Systems Engineer. Ava is a tutor at Cuesta College, where she has been working for over three years. She tutors physics up to modern physics, statics, and dynamics. On the weekends, she is a server at a local restaurant, and enjoys spending time playing and writing music.
