Evan is currently a senior transfer student at University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Geology. He transferred from community college, where he gained a variety of geological field experience. He is active in research, working on impact crater sample research from Meteor Crater, Arizona, with relation to microstructures and chemical partitioning. His interest in planetary geology led him to complete the MCA program, and he plans to continue to pursue planetary geology.
