Phoenix is an Electrical Engineering mentor with L’SPACE and a research engineer at Vanderbilt University’s Institute for Space and Defense Electronics. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astronomy, completing an undergraduate thesis in radio astronomy, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her research centers on radiation effects in microelectronics, and she is passionate about developing instrumentation that expands access to space exploration, with long-term plans to pursue a PhD in astrophysics.
