Ruben Ramirez is a second-year Bachelor of Applied Technology in Manufacturing Technology student in the Honors Program at Austin Community College (ACC), and has a focus on aerospace, materials, and propulsion systems. He currently serves as a Training Officer for the Level 1 Rocketry Program and Propulsion Lead for the ACC SEDS Rocketry Team and has served as Chief Scientist for his NASA L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy, where he led scientific trade studies, concept of operations, and technical reports. He also served as Principal Investigator for his NPWEE team, and is currently a Lucy Ambassador.

A former educator in STEM and Accelerated Math, he brings a well rounded background in teaching, research, and technical communication. His interests include propulsion manufacturing, mission assurance, and applied research, with long-term goals of contributing to NASA flight operations and advanced aerospace systems.

In his spare time he enjoys being with his Fiancé Hannah, and their friends and family.
