Adrian Munoz

Thermal Engineer

Adrian Munoz is a fifth year Aerospace Science and Engineering major at UC Davis with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. He is currently working as a peer tutor and undergraduate researcher in materials and aeronautical engineering at UC Davis.

Adrian began his participation in the L’SPACE Program as the Chief Scientist of his team during the Fall 2024 NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience (NPWEE). Following this, he participated in the Spring 2025 Mission Concept Academy (MCA) and served as the Deputy Project Manager of Resources (DPMR) for his team. These experiences gave him the confidence to apply to the LEAP internship program, where he is excited to guide new MCA participants on heat transfer and the NASA program/project lifecycle.

In the near future, Adrian is excited to start a career as an entry-level engineer in various engineering disciplines (aerospace, materials, mechanical) following his graduation.

In his free time, Adrian enjoys many activities such as hiking, bouldering, trying new restaurants, and going to the range. He loves learning new things and has recently learned welding and field equipment operations.
