Bryce Logan
Mechanical Engineer
Bryce Logan is a Mechanical Engineering major at The University of Florida with an Engineering Leadership Certificate. His experience in both the MCA as a Thermal Engineer and the NPWEE as a Project Manager motivated him to aim for a mentorship position within the LEAP program, where he strives to aid students in their MCA experience.
He is also the president of an aerospace design team at UF called Aerogator. Within Aerogator, he partakes in leading multidisciplinary teams through aircraft and UAV design processes and utilizes skills such as aerodynamic analysis (XFLR5), CAD modeling (SolidWorks), and structural analysis (ANSYS).
In the future, he hopes to pursue a career within the aerospace industry, working closely with aerospace vehicle design.
In his free time, Bryce enjoys working out, going on walks, flying his RC airplane, and going fishing. He is also currently working on a personal project through which he is building a small-scale RC aircraft out of easily acquirable and inexpensive materials to better understand the nuances of designing aircraft.
